6-8 players line up and hold a can, and 3+ throwers stand behind them 25 feet away. Pick a target and throw the Waboba to bounce on the water. You get 5 points for a headshot, and 1 point for any other body part. If you knock a can out of someone’s hand, you’re an instant game winner! Play at your own risk.
Another great weekend with Waboba at a beautifull beach in Setubal/Portugal, families vied to play and filled over 4 of our score charts, this beach will never be the same again. It came alive with Waboba and the game is becoming a passion, a difficult urge to control
Waboba brings families together and that is very important, thank you Waboba – message from and exhausted but happy Dad after a game of Waboba.
A friend of mine shared a new game with me she played at the beach with the Waboba Streetball. It is called, Skeeboba. Sort of like Skeeball, but on sand and with Waboba, which makes it totally awesome and much cooler!
There are 6 circles; middle is 20 pts, then decreasing incrementally by 5. So 20, 15, 10, and 5. Then the two side holes are 50. They played 3 balls per turn and first to 300 wins. As she said, “Totally fun way to pass the time at the beach!” We think so too. Watch the game in action below. Do you want to play?
Have you created a new Waboba game? Now through July 31st, we’re on the lookout for a Wabobian to share their new game as an extra way to have fun with our products. Be the first person to have your game featured on our website, blog, Facebook, and Twitter.
We’re all about having fun and sometimes you want to play by your own rules. Tell us what new Waboba game you invented when you play with your friends and family for a chance to win and have your game featured online. Write a simple description of your game using the Blast, Surf, Pro, Extreme, Flyer, or Street ball and post it on our Facebook page wall, or leave a comment below. Best game wins! If your game is chosen, we’d love for you to share video/pictures demonstrating to help share your game and include it on our YouTube channel. You’ll be famous!
For the sake of sharing ideas, here’s one I came up with. Put floating rings (hula hoops) in a pool or lake (works best in calm waters) and bounce a Waboba ball to try and get it in the rings. You could have different points per ring, like 1pt, 2pt, 3pts, depending on which ring you land in. Play up to 21 points. It’s a great way to test your Waboba skills and master the bounce. Try it!
