With over 15 teams and a rough sea, our 2nd Waboba Tournament was held at the SURF AT NIGHT festival on the beach of Cortegaça in Portugal from the 15th-19th of August 2012. We had to dodge the rough sea, but the tournament could not be stopped. The speed, excitement and growing competitiveness between teams was obvious. Players rated the Waboba sport as pure adrenaline! There were many goals + fouls as the tournament reached it´s end. Aggressive first timers are now Wabobians to the heart and cannot wait for the next tournament.
6-8 players line up and hold a can, and 3+ throwers stand behind them 25 feet away. Pick a target and throw the Waboba to bounce on the water. You get 5 points for a headshot, and 1 point for any other body part. If you knock a can out of someone’s hand, you’re an instant game winner! Play at your own risk.
Kevin and his friends created a game called Street Slap. You can only slap the Street ball. You can’t throw it or hold it. It has to bounce one time, but no more than 2. Spread out and pass the Street around to keep the ball in motion and the game going. 3+ people. Playing on bricks = bonus fun!
